Due to their construction and manufacture techniques they are durable. Due to their noble materials they age with grace. Copper covered with patina. Darkening of the oak and leather. This is what timelessness means to us.

The relationship between humans and objects is important for us. We choose light forms, open constructions and elements interacting with light, to create quiet and nurturing space.

Nurt was founded in 2018 by the designer Maja Ganszyniec. It started as a personal project, an exploration of the roots: local materials and traditional craft. Always close to Nature, the brand focused on furniture and accessories for home environment and the local market.

Maja graduated from the Royal College of Art in London and gained numerous recognitions, including latest nomination for the Emerging Design Studio of the Year 2022 Dezeen Award. „Do no harm” is her main principle in design. She chooses natural materials because everything that surrounds us affects our wellbeing. She works locally but thinks globally. Her collaborations range from huge companies with world-changing capabilities to small family businesses that can create a piece of a whole new world from scratch.
